Printing a poster @ MCB GRAPHICS
Sign up in advance to reserve a time slot on the poster printer schedule
If you do not have a HarvardKey or have a problem with reserving a time slot, please email us immediately at mcbgraphics@fas.harvard.edu.
If you need to print a batch of posters (more than three), let us know in advance and we’ll make special arrangements with you.
Reserving a slot
Select a date and an available time slot. Please fill out all required fields and upload your file(s) before the reserved time. Click the Sign Up button.
Dimensions
The most commonly printed poster size is 36” x 48” (3’ x 4’). We are able to print up to 6’ x 150’ or any dimensions in between.
Material
We offer photo gloss paper ($5/square foot) as well as photo satin paper ($6/square foot) and polyester fabric ($9/square foot).
Lamination
After your poster is printed, we can laminate or mount it on foam core/board ($5/sq ft). Please be aware that this can take up to 24 hours.
Poster tubes
We stock a variety of tubes: 37” cardboard ($3.90), 37” PVC ($15), 42” PVC ($20), and 60” telescopic plastic tubes ($45).
Payment
We accept Harvard 33-digit billing codes. Though we are not set up to process credit cards, we can also accept checks made out to “Harvard University” and cash (exact amount only - no change is kept on site).
Receipts can be e-mailed upon request.
Uploading your files
You can upload your files directly on the Poster Printer Schedule, on the Reservation screen. You will receive an email confirming that your files have been received.
Please provide both the original file and the PDF version.
Pickup
When your print job is finished, you will receive a second email to let you know that it is ready for pickup. You, or someone you assign, can stop by anytime during our opening hours, M–F 9-7, to collect your poster(s).
Completed posters are typically located in the poster rack in the facility.
Cancellations
If you are running late, need to reschedule, or decide not to print with us, please remember to reschedule or cancel your appointment so that the time slot will become available for someone else. If the schedule is full, you can email -- mcbgraphics@fas.harvard.edu -- to check whether we might be able to squeeze in your print job.
